Shanks is a only a Swordsman - One Piece

     Red hair shanks is perhaps the most hyped character in One Piece,some of his fans even consider him the strongest man of the One Piece Universe. Well, we are not discussing whether or not he is strongest or not but the thing is that it is still not known that what is combat style of Shanks so title suggests I do believe that Shanks is a Swordsman and I can prove it how.

                 Some of fans may not agree but deal with it, For now Shanks is a swordsman. No Overall ability shit and no devil fruit powers or anything else, as far as haki goes lets pin it for now. Without wasting time let us see hints and proves in story

Links and Hints

  We at first did not knew that potential of shanks although knowing that he was pirate, the very first time we got to know that Shanks is one of the top guys when Hawk Eye Mihawk visited him to show him Luffy's wanted poster. There we get to know that they do sparring when shanks asked mihawk that if he had came to fight him. Now Mihawk is a swordsman and Shanks wouldn't spar with Mihawk in a sumo match.

   When Shanks boarded Moby Dick to meet Whitebeard, Whitebeard mentioned a legendary duel of Shanks and Mihawk that he said we watched with his own eyes and came to acknowledge Shanks. Now again it must definitely be a sword fight.

Actual Incidents

In One Piece, Shanks was actually involved in combat two times, One was with Whitebeard on Moby Dick and Second was at Marineford and both times he had drawn and used his sword. It is like instinct of a fighter. Shanks also drew his sword from his sheath when he made himself clear that if anyone wanted to continue violence in marineford then he would gladly become their opponent. If you still do not believe that Shanks is a swordsman then I would like you to read next point.

Shanks's Jolly Roger

 All pirates have jolly roger and jolly roger of each pirate represents him, there is no case of pirate and jolly roger having different themes in One Piece.  Ace's jolly roger had spade , Luffy's jolly roger has his straw hat, Whitebeard's jolly roger had his "hige" or facial hair or simply said then mustache. Similarly Shanks Jolly Roger has two swords. That too because he had this jolly roger when he used to fight with swords in both of his arms. If Shanks is anything else than a swordsman then he wouldn't have this Jolly Roger.

Fan Speculations and Conclusion

Shanks's fans actually believe that Shanks opposite to mihawk (who is only skilled with swords) , is powerful in overall combat ability. I would like to ask them what is overall fighting ability ? Can't Shanks be a yonkou by being a swordsman? You mean fighting with World's Strongest Swordsman is just a swordsmanship hobby of Shanks? Is the title of Worlds strongest swordsman nothing just because he is a Shichibukai? No, just like pirate king and World's strongest swordsman is also a unique title to be feared. It may totally depend on history of Shanks and Mihawk that why Mihawk was given the title but it can be assumed that Whether or not Shanks is strongest in One Piece ,but he is definitely the 2nd strongest swordsman or was even Strongest swordsman with both of his hands. (His lost limb did affected him and Oda never said that there was no effect of losing an arm on him that is myth by a youtuber theorist that went crazy)

The return of Marco the Phoenix - One Piece Theory

    Marco has been only living in sad times ever since we saw him, the guy lost his father and two brothers from his own crew. On top of that he suffered a big loss in war with Blackbeard. What will now happen with Marco?

         After the Time skip there was no mention of the Whitebeard pirates in the story except when Nekomamushi ( Master Cat Viper )
mentioned that the man they are looking for is "Marco the Phoenix". I was myself pretty excited to see the return of Marco. But first of all lets try to figure out the significance of Marco and his phoenix form.

     Phoenix is a mythical bird which is said to be immortal. It's wings are composed of healing flames and it always dies by burning in its own flames , when it dies it is born again from the ashes of its burnt remains. Thus , this time return of the Marco might be a symbol of a new birth. A new era for him. As we have discussed Marco has only suffered up until now in One Piece, he lost Thatch, Ace and his father Whitebeard. So this return might be a symbol of end of his suffering. Marco might've realized after that loss in war with Blackbeard that he has a long way to go and there are people he wants to avenge.

   I think Marco and very few Remnants of Whitebeard pirates must be preparing themselves from past two years. I can imagine Marco getting stronger, We have yet to see how he will make his comeback. He will either come to Zou with Nekomamushi or he will directly meet the straw hat crew in Wano.

     Many of the fans are discussing who will take place of a dethroned yonkou, and supernovas are leading in opinion poll because its clear that Luffy will certainly not become one of the four yonkou. I say there are good chances of Marco claiming the title of a yonkou after dethroning of Kaido or He might join the Red Haired pirates.

   Up until now Marco is the most famous character among the one piece universe people. Marines are searching for Marco, Red Hair shanks want him to join his crew. Kaido is looking for him, Miss Bakkin and Edward Weevil is looking for him and none other that Nekomamushi and Inuarashi are searching for him, It is quite certain that Oda has lots of plans for Marco the Phoenix in upcoming story.

Big Mom Conqueror's Haki Theory - Whole Cake Island

      It's been exciting since Luffy and other have caused ruckus in Tea party of yonkou "Big Mom" Charlotte Linlin. Plan that Luffy-Capone alliance had made was blown to bits by none other than Big Mom herself. But the most unique thing in the tea party was Big Mom's conqueror's Haki. I think it is another variant of Conqueror's haki, which was used by Big Mom in tea party.


        Conqueror's Haki - First of all, lets see what is conqueror's haki, It is one of the 3 types of haki and rarest among all 3 types of haki, while other haki can be learned by training this haki can not be learned by training but awakened only in rare cases. It is said that those who possess conqueror's haki have qualities to be king or qualities to rule the world itself. It was first shown by Shanks on Whitebeard's ship, after that it has been shown many times later in series. The current known users Conqueror's haki are Shanks, Whitebeard, Silver's Reyleigh, Boa Hancock, Luffy, Ace, Doflamingo , Don Chinjao and Big Mom. Big Mom and Boa are only females that can use Conqueror's haki.

  Normal Instances of Haki in One Piece - Up until now , the conqueror's haki instances included a massive shockwave being released from user's body  which can knock out the opponents who don't have a strong will. It wasn't well shown when Shanks entered Moby Dick but it was shown that something cracked the ship's wood. Later when Luffy and Reyleigh used it, the shock wave could seen clearly in episodes.

  Big Mom's Conqueror's Haki -     In Whole cake arc, Capone "Gang" Bege revealed that Big Mom activates her Conqueror's haki when she screams out loud in state of trauma, the conqueror's haki gets released with her voice, although its still unknown that whether she uses it like other conqueror haki user. But compared to other Big Mom's haki affects people who only hear her "alien like cry". As Bege describes, the people who plug their ears with something are unaffected by her haki.

            Thus this creates a whole new possibility for the haki, as it can also be changed depending on the medium. I propose it like this, While shanks and other's use it through Shockwave , Big mom uses it through sound and those who hear her fall on their knees. Another Interesting thing about her conqueror's haki was that it isn't limited to people with weak will. Even smoothie a sweet commander and Luffy were affected by this. Thus we can propose two types of Conqueror's haki

       Shockwave Conqueror's Haki

• Pros - Cannot be resisted except by strong will.
• Cons - Only affects (significantly)  people with weak will.

     

       Audible Conqueror's Haki

• Pros - can be resisted by plugging ears with something.
• Cons - Affects all people.

Alternatives of HAKI - One Piece

          Haki is a dormant ability present in every living being, which can be awakened using intense and hard training. Haki is a spiritual force that can increase one's physical strength too. Haki is a must use skill to sail in New World which is turf of four Yonkou ( Emperors) , it can be compared to Chakra in naruto or ki in DBZ but unlike these two Haki is not a skill that all characters possess in One Piece.

    In One Piece it is very rare for character to be able to use haki. Arnament haki is known as the only common offensive technique which can hurt Logia type users but little do we know there are also some alternatives which can hurt Logia type Devil fruit user's body. Let's talk about them,


Fishman Karate

      Very few One Piece fans know that like Haki, fishman karate users can touch flowing bodies of logia users, which makes fishman karate a formidable martial art in One Piece, Fishman karate is used by residents of Fishman Island, Jimbei "the sea knight" is the most powerful user of fishman karate and he was shown fighting fire fist ace in series for 5 days, he is also recently shown fighting Katakuri who is a logia type user in Big Mom's tea party. This might also be the reason why most of the Revolutionaries in Revolutionary Army

Strongest Females in One Piece - Top 10

 

   This list about the power of females and how they are never left behind men, I was thinking about creating a list top 10 Strongest females in One Piece for some time finally created one. I hope you guys enjoy and certainly agree with me because I have done a lot of analysis on my part in this , so lets start :

• 10.) Revolutionary Koala

         

              Koala is a revolutionary and master of fishman karate, she works with the chief of staff of Revolutionary Army " Sabo" and she is shown to fight multiple marines with an expert skill while defending all the things at the same time. We've seen that fishman karate is a dangerous martial art and like haki is able to hurt devil fruit users. Current level of Koala's fishman karate is still unknown so we are giving her No. 10 spot in this list.

• 9.) Carrot

   

              Carrot is a rabbit mink and the current strength how her is still unknown, although she was shown being able to fight and defeat gifters, she almost took out Luffy in her rage and She was able to fight Big Mom's elite homie warrior "Crane rider Randolph". She is expert of free style fighting, has incredible jumping power and ability to use electro like other minks.

• 8.) Vinsmoke Reiju

   

        Vinsmoke Reiju is princess of Germa Kingdom and one of the Elite fighter's of Germa 66. She is sister of Sanji (what else is needed to know that she is strong , LOL ). She is shown to use freestyle fighting with poisoning blows which poison the enemy while fighting one of the sweet commanders of Big Mom. It was indicated that she can use iron body too by charlotte pudding thus unable to be shot by ordinary bullets or stabbed by normal blades.

• 7.) Jewelry Bonney

    Jewelry Bonney aslo known as "Gluttony or Big Eater" is one of the 12 pirates referred to as "Worst Generation". She is the only female belonging to that group. At Saboady Archipelago. She like other supernovas had more than 100m beli bounty on her head. She has eaten an unnamed Devil fruit that allows her to control her age as well as age of people she touches making her a formidable enemy. She was captured by Akainu (strongest active marine) but she managed to trick marines and was able to escape. She was first supernova to make a move on a yonkou.

• 6.) Boa Hancock

       

                 Yes, here she is. "Pirate Empress" Boa Hancock is captain of Kuja pirates and Queen of Kuja tribe in island of Amazon Lily, She has eaten Mero Mero no mi (Love Love fruit ) which allows her to to petrify the people who feel atttacted to her beauty without even making contact with her. She also uses Slave Arrow to do the same. The fruit also allows her to petrify the object she touches as she was shown to break Smoker's Jutte with petrifying kick. She was the first female who

Ussop's future Combat Abilities - Strongest Observation Haki ? One Piece Theory

Ussop is currently 3rd most wanted man in Straw Hat crew after Luffy and Zoro. Most One Piece fans are amused by the fact the Ussop beats even Sanji in terms of Bounty with a bounty of 200m beli. Although Reason for him to have such a high bounty is still a mystery which is yet to be revealed in story.

There are speculations like Ussop was active and caused a ruckus in Dressrosa while Sanji wasn't present there or Ussop is Yassop's son and World Government sees him as a threat because Yassop is a big shot pirate himself. So lets talk about how ussop will acquire his combat abilities in future.

Will Ussop have Strongest Observation Haki ?

We know that in monster trio, Each one specializes a particular form of haki i.e. Luffy , Sanji and Zoro Specialize in Conqueror's, Observation , Arnament Haki respectively although they can use other haki forms too. Besides these three no one is yet shown to use any type of Haki with an exception of Ussop who has awakened his haki in Dressrosa.

                          I think that Ussop's Haki of Perception will surpass even Sanji and there are many reasons I see this happening. But before that let's talk about Haki of Perception or Color of Observation. This type of Haki lets user to see things with a sixth sense, and it can pin point the living objects around oneself using their aura. But that depends on Skill of one self and depending on how one trains his haki it can be either used to sense an enemy at large distances ( Strongest user currently known - God Enel ) or it can used even to see future ( Strongest user currently known as Dogtooth or Katakuri ).

                                 After knowing that we ask our-self , " will Ussop be one to have strongest Observation Haki in the end and not Sanji?" For me the answer is "YES", definitely Ussop will have strongest or one of the strongest observation haki and there are pretty much reasons for guessing it.

• Ussop awakened his Haki of Perception without trying to force awaken it with intense training of perception like monster trio did which means he already have an excellent perception ability.
• Sanji is a close combat fighter and if he masters Observation it will be Katakuri type of mastering not Enel type which is necessary for Ussop as he is a Sniper.
• If we pay attention from the beginning , Ussop is generally the one to foresee some threat before time-skip and also he is generally the first one to spot and island.

So in the end Ussop will definitely have one of the Strongest Observation Haki.

Will Ussop awaken Strongest Conqueror's Haki ?

The one thing I love most about One Piece is Oda's creativity, up until now his creativity has surprised us many times. One of it is all the lies that ussop tells in story eventually come true. 

And like many lies Ussop has bragged that he has Conqueror's Haki , so will he ever awaken Conqueror's haki. I say there are pretty good chances . 

         We know that Ussop wants to become a brave warrior of the sea and to become that he will have to get stronger and better day by day so we can pretty much assume that Ussop will awaken Conqueror's Haki.

Will Ussop awaken Strongest Arnament Haki ?

Currently No relation of Ussop and Arnament haki is shown in the story so him awakening thi haki is least likely to happen but this can be true though as a brave warrior of sea can have all three forms of haki and he will definitely be one of the formidable member of Straw Hat Pirates as it has been said about Ussop which will be highlighted in Elbaf arc.

He will always be the weakest because he doesn't need to be strong, therefore he has the potential to overcome anyone no matter how much stronger they are than him. That's why he will be brave. Because he will continue to look up at his opponent, who will always be greater, stronger than he is. Squashing someone who is weaker than you isn't hard and it doesn't take bravery. Even Buggy could do it.

So in a nutshell, Ussop will be one of the formidable member of straw hats and He will become strong and better .

What is power of Shanks ? - One Piece Theory

Ever since shanks was introduced in story we all wanted him to be engaged in live combat , too bad it didn't happen.

He was pirate who inspired luffy. Later when Hawk Eye visited him it was clear that is no Ordinary pirate and then It was finally revealed by Garp that he is one of the 4 rulers of new world. But up until now there is not a single clue about how shanks fights, so today we are presenting you with some possibilities of what shanks power might be.


Classic discussion - Time Time devil fruit

A huge part of one piece fan base thinks that Shanks has eaten time time (or some other name that relates with time), with this fruit he can control the flow of time thats how he was able to dodge sake thrown by Whitebeard and reach marineford just after the skirmish with kaido. But this theory sucks for me as We've seen that shanks use to duel with mihawk ( he was that much powerful back then ) when he used to have both hands. And he lost his hand in sea floating which is impossible if he was a DF eater.But who knows if Oda gave him a DF during those 14-15 years time gap .


Swordsmanship that rivals World's Strongest Swordsman

This is my favorite theory, just imagine Shanks being a non devil fruit user who is able to go toe to toe with Hawk eye Mihawk , battling with Sword swings and slashes just like how Zoro, Reyleigh, Vista and Mihawk fight. This would be very nice as all other yonkou have exceptionally rare powers and just imagine shanks without any rare power being able to rival all other yonkou.

Lightning fast Fighting style

This theory makes a lot of sense, remember Whitebeard throwing sake at shanks dodging it. There might be a possibility that shanks with some kind of physical training  of haki or something achieved a conscious speed. That it was almost impossible for mihawk yo trace him with his observation haki and during their countless duels shanks honed that speed and  mihawk honed his observation haki to a potential where he was called Hawk Eyes and both making winning and losing streaks, because as far as I've seen in different series , the title of Hawk eye is given to sniper with exceptional perception so why in One Piece it is given to a swordsman.

Top Grade Swordsmanship vs Overall Fighting skills

some fans believe that Mihawk is exceptionally talented with swordsmanship while shanks is skilled in overal fighting abilities like haki and other combat abilities. Well I dont think that because always compared to Mihawk and always drawing his blade out in intense situations Shanks can only be a top grade Swordsman. And I certainly wont even think to declare anyone stronger than other one because we don't even know it until Oda tells us. Currently Shanks is stronger because Large part of One Piece fanbase thinks he is stronger but for me , I would like to wait and find Out.

Zoro's Left Eye - 5 famous Theories - One Piece Theory

After the 2 year time-skip period in One Piece there is one thing that is most noticeable and least discussed . Yes, Zoro's left eye. I don't know why none of the straw hats asked zoro about his eye. But as we know , creator of One Piece Echiro Oda does everything for a reason and due to this flood of theories about Zoro's left Eye were flowing on internet. So today we present you 5 possible theories about Zoro's left eye.

1. It's Just a "Scar "

People do think that eye of zoro is damaged by a very strong slash and its closed for good but considering how Oda likes to do things this would be very boring. Also most of the people who have scars on their eye's like Reyleigh and Shanks can open their eyes normally so this one is just least possible but still possible because no one knows if Oda is trying to troll us.

2. It's a  " Dojutsu "

It's a Sharingan. Wait, It might be a rinnegan too ( Just Kidding). Many fans think that in his left eye zoro is stroing some kind of power of Haki that will grant him visual prowess when he opens it. It might have been possible if it was NarutoVerse, FTverse or BleachVerse but as we know powers in one piece have totally different functionality as haki is totally different from chakra and ki although definition is same in all anime .

3. Price for training under a Rival

As we all know, Zoro wants to become World's Greatest Swordsman and to achieve that Goal he must defeat "Taka no me" ( Hawk Eye) Mihawk, but in middle of story for sake of his captain, he trains under Mihawk to get stronger than before so many fans think that Zoro removed his left eye as a price for training under a man who he needs to defeat to achieve his goal.

4. Curse of "Sandai Kitetsu" (" Kitetsu the third" )

In Loguetown ( East Blue), Zoro got his hands on a legendary but also a cursed sword about which the shop owner said that whoever owned a kitetsu sword died due to its curse but zoro checks his luck with kitestu and in the end was unharmed . This "curse" was later never mentioned in story so many fans believe that when zoro opens his left eye he will be able to use curse of kitetsu sword in his favor with some sort of demon. It might go in story like during timeskip, zoro's left eye glowed and he goes wild destroying everything and in the end Mihawk shut slashes his eye. Yes, I agree it can be true as Oda would never mention curse of kitetsu just to pass time.

5. Restraining his Potential

This is the most logical theory among all 5 , we've seen that Zoro has trained himself with observation haki after time-skip but as we've seen Zoro has defeated all enemies up until now effortlessly so to increase his power he is restraining his true potential of Observation haki by closing his one eye and that scar is simply a scar just like Reyleigh, and Zoro will open that eye in a difficult situation when he will need to use that advanced level of Observation Haki.

Zoro and Luffy vs Hundred Beast Kaido - One Piece Theory

IT IS A THEORY ON ZORO AND LUFFY and How the war with Kaido will take place.

This here is cover page of chapter 699, its a chapter which is way past punk hazard arc but i will discuss about this page after some points. now I will start from the very beginning .:/

1. In the very first arc where Luffy recruits Zoro. captain x head Morgan said about Luffy that "straw hat luffy" must've eaten one of those devil fruits, he had heard rumors about devil fruit user who could create tsunami ( foreshadowing Whitebeard ) and person who can breathe fire ( might be foreshadowing Kaido)
2. From the very beginning of manga , Oda has posted images of straw hats in samurai or traditional Japanese clothes in OP cover pages.

3. In the cover pages he has also shown Zoro as tiger multiple times and he has shown straw hats with dragon, also one thing i common in all that is Luffy, Nami and Zoro.

4. Now the theory is Zoro and Luffy both will kill Kaido in Wano arc and Nami will somehow be involved in that combat and is gonna play an important role.


5. Zoro and Kaido are Tiger and Dragon ( Yin and Yang) , in mythology dragon and tiger are enemies.
6. If you check the left hand of kaido , it has scales on it which resemble to dragon , also kaido has mustache like dragon whiskers and he also has two horns like dragons (but this is not that much of a similarity ). So we can say kaido represents a Dragon. also there are theories that he has dragon dragon no mi, but i am saying that if he doesn't have it at least he does represents a dragon.
7. And through various cover pages we know that Zoro represents Tiger.
8. Now when we were in punk hazard arc while slaying dragon luffy and zoro both killed that dragon ( which was foreshadowing of fight with kaido) and zoro used the move ultimate tiger hunt against that dragon ( it looks like Oda is saying just guess it already man)

9.Now look at the picture i posted

it is a cover page of chapter 699 so if we look at it all the straw hats are there but zoro and luffy especially have bandages on them. also it is to be noted that dragon also has bandages on it. Nami is only one who is not holding a weapon, those bandages on luffy and zoro show that it will be them who will be involved in direct combat of Kaido.
It is also to be noted that there is a skull made on kaido's left hand (you can check it from kaido's first appearance pic, and that same skull is there on Armour of zoro in above cover page except that skull on zoro is impaled with three swords

and the most important point to be noted is that this
